DESTINY PC OPEN BETA UPDATE:
Now that the Destiny 2 PC open beta is live, there are a few things you can do to make the experience even better on your chosen gaming rig.
Nvidia recently launched a new driver ahead of the Destiny 2 Beta and "Version 385.41" of Nvidia's GeForce Game-Ready driver is available now.
This new driver optimises the upcoming Destiny 2 PC beta to ensure players get the best possible 4K 60FPS experience they want on PC
“NVIDIA’s developer resources, advanced gaming technologies and breadth of its GeForce PC platform make them an invaluable partner,” said Pete Parsons, CEO of Bungie.
“The GeForce PC platform offers technologies and performance that allow gamers to see the Destiny universe the way we envisioned it for PC players.”

The Destiny 2 PC early access beta went live yesterday and players jumped in with gusto to sample the glorious delights of full HD, 60FPS PC gaming together with Bungie's new shooter.
There may have been some initial hiccups and millions of players attempted to join the game for the very first time, but Bungie got control of it relatively shortly.
However, later today they'll have even more players attempting to log on as the games PC Open Beta gets underway.
The August 28 PC Beta start date was only intended for those players with early access, achieved by pre-ordering the game.
However, later today at 6PM, absolutely anyone can jump in on PC to trial the game. It's all set to get started at 6PM in the UK, which is 10am PDT if you live in the US.
This short and sweet PC beta ends a few days later on August 31, although we wouldn't rule out Bungie extending the beta like they did with PS4 and Xbox One players.
Players who pre-ordered the game were able to pre-load the beta ahead of the initial early access start time, but from what we can see that's not possible for anyone without a pre-order looking to join in with the open beta later today.
All Bungie has said on the matter is the following: "Players who wish to participate in the Destiny 2 Open Beta for PC must visit the Blizzard Shop and download the Beta client on August 29."
Take a look below to see whats included in the Destiny 2 PC beta early access and open beta.

DESTINY 2 PC BETA: Everything You Need to Know
The PC beta is starting a good few weeks after console players had the ability to play the game on PS4 and Xbox One, and will offer much of the same content that was on offer in the original build (albeit with better graphics).
The main change is that the PC beta features a brand new map. PS4 and Xbox One players experienced Control on the Midtown map, but PC players will battle it out on Javelin-4.
The PC version of the game will support 21:9 monitor setups, keyboard and mouse input and give players the option to tune their graphics settings, however.
The original version of Destiny never made the leap to PC, so with Destiny 2 releasing on the Windows platform, Bungie and Activision may see an entirely new fanbase join the game.
Unlike the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, however, you will be required to download the Blizzard desktop app in order to play the beta - this is the standard client for launching and playing all of Blizzard's games (Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Diablo etc) and will be the only way you can access and play Destiny 2 on PC.
Destiny 2 PC Beta - What you shouldn't expect:
Clan Support: It’s true that Clans will be supported in Destiny 2, but those features are not a part of this test.
Character Progression: You’ll receive rewards for defeating your enemies – be they Cabal, Vex, or other Guardians – but the Beta does not represent how your characters will evolve in Destiny 2.
Character Continuity: Destiny 2 is a fresh start. Nothing we do in the Beta will carry over to the final version of the game.
Destiny 2 PC Beta System Requirements
Bungie recently revealed the Destiny 2 PC requirements, which are divided into 'minimum' and 'recommended' categories. Both categories are just below and will help inform what you need for playing that beta coming in a few days time:

Destiny 2 PC Beta Minimum Specs:

It's worth noting that the specs might yet change from the beta to the full PC game when it launches in October.
Bungie has warned with a post on Bungie.net that the PC specs for the beta might be different for the full game.
