• Air Force has won 13 of 17 games over the last two seasons, including eight of its last 11 in Mountain West play.

LAST SEASON
(Oct. 26, 2019) Air Force defeated Utah State, 31-7, in Falcon Stadium. The Falcons used one-yard touchdown runs from Timothy Jackson and Kadin Remsberg to take a 14-0 lead. Jake Koehnke added a career-long 57 yard field as time expired in the first half to push the lead to 17-0 at halftime. Utah State scored on a Jordan Love to Siaosi Mariner 27 yard touchdown pass to open the third quarter, but Remsberg added his second touchdown later in the quarter to push the lead to 24-7. Taven Birdow added a touchdown run early in the fourth quarter to make up the final margin. Air Force rolled up 472 total yards, including 448 rushing. The Falcons held the ball for 45:43 and were 10-13 on third-down conversions. Utah State was held to just 128 total yards, including 14 rushing. Jackson led the Falcons with his third-straight 100-yard rushing game with 148 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. Remsberg added 92 yards and two touchdowns while Birdow chipped in with 88 and a score.
LAST TIME AT UTAH STATE
(Sept. 22, 2018) Utah State defeated Air Force, 42-32, in Logan, Utah, in the Mountain West opener for both schools. The Aggies scored late in the second quarter to take a 21-14 halftime lead and appeared to put the game away in the third quarter with a pair of touchdowns to extend the lead to 35-14, with 8:15 remaining. Air Force got a field goal from Jake Koehnke, the first of his career, late in the quarter and Kadin Remsberg scored his first-career touchdown early in the fourth quarter and a two-point conversion cut the lead to 35-25. Christopher Musselman recovered a fumble on the kickoff and returned it 21 yards for a score to cut the lead to 35-32 with 13:00 minutes to play. Utah State put the game away with a Gerold Bright 70-yard scoring run with 6:52 remaining to make up the final margin. Air Force had 471 total yards on a school-record 107 plays. Remsberg led the Falcons with 94 yards rushing in his first-career start. The Aggies had 489 total yards, including 356 passing. Quarterback Jordan Love hit 26 of 38 passes for 356 yards and two touchdowns. Bright added 101 yards rushing.

AIR FORCE LAST TIME OUT
Air Force defeated New Mexico, 28-0, to snap a two-game losing streak. The shutout was the first for Air Force since 2018 and first against a conference opponent since 2011. The Falcons scored on their first three drives with Haaziq Daniels capping the opening drive with a four-yard scoring run. Brad Roberts added a pair of touchdown runs in the second quarter to give Air Force a 21-0 halftime lead. Following a mistake-filled third quarter that saw Air Force fumble three times and New Mexico miss three field goals, Roberts sealed the game with a 44-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter to make up the final margin. Air Force had 422 total yards, including 356 rushing while converting 9-13 third downs. Roberts led the Falcons with career highs of 28 carries, 177 yards and three touchdowns. New Mexico had 304 total yards, including 221 passing. Johnathan Youngblood led the defense with eight tackles.
