The Jacksonville Jaguars return home to TIAA Bank Field on Sunday, Oct. 18 to host the Detroit Lions in the team's annual Crucial Catch game. The matchup kicks off at 1 p.m. and will be broadcast nationally by FOX, locally on FOX30, and on radio on WJXL (1010AM, 92.5 FM) and 99.9 FM Gator Country. This week's game is presented by Baptist Health.
TIAA Bank Field will be open for a limited capacity crowd on Sunday and tickets are still available at www.jaguars.com/tickets. Fans watching from home can also tune in to Jags@Home, a second screen viewing experience that gives fans an all-new way to connect with the team on game day and take home cash prizes.
JAGUARS MAKE CRUCIAL CATCH
The NFL and American Cancer Society are celebrating their 12th year working together to fight cancer through the "Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer" campaign. The Jaguars will recognize crucial catch during their Week 6 game versus the Lions. Fans will see the official multi-colored logo around TIAA Bank Field and on helmet decals, cleats, towels, sideline caps and other equipment. The Jaguars will salute cancer survivors, those still battling and the health care workers who care for them throughout Sunday's game.
This week's national anthem will be performed virtually by 15-year-old cancer survivor Marissa Peddie. Diagnosed at the age of 8 with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, she turned to music as a place of peace and healing as she started performing for different charities to promote cancer awareness. On hand to interpret the national anthem for the hearing impaired is ROAR of the Jaguars cheerleader Eden. Following the national anthem, a flyover will be performed by a Life Flight Helicopter of Baptist Health. Life Flight is celebrating its 40th year serving Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, having flown more than 25,000 patients to area emergency centers.
Prior to the anthem, the starting lineup will be introduced virtually by doctors and nurses from Baptist Health. Moments before kickoff, the traditional First DUUUVAL, presented by Duval Motor Company, will be delivered virtually by 12 children from the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund who have received treatment at Wolfson Children's Hospital.
In a salute to the Crucial Catch theme, fans will be treated to a virtual halftime show by performance painter David Garibaldi. His "Rhythm and Hue" stage act showcases his talents in rapidly creating paintings in minutes to music. This Sunday he'll create a painting in tribute to both Crucial Catch and the team's yearlong DuvALL TOGETHER campaign.
JAGS@HOME ADDS NEW PRIZES
For fans that can't be in the stadium this year due to COVID-19, the Jaguars have introduced Jags@Home, a second screen viewing platform designed to complement the game watching experience and give fans watching from home an all new way to connect with the team. On game day, fans can visit www.jagsathome.com on their computer, tablet or mobile device and get bonus analysis, statistics and traditional game day content. Once the game is underway, fans can participate in live trivia and predictive gaming for the chance to win cash prizes. This week's Jags@Home installment will name multiple winners each quarter, with more than 24 winners every single game. Jags@Home is hosted by Jaguars Digital Reporter and Host Ashlyn Sullivan and social media influencer Eric V. Dunn.
COMMUNITY AND MILITARY HONOREES
During Thursday's game, the Jaguars will honor former U.S. Army Col. Dr. Nicholas Poulos as the Veteran of the Game presented by Dr. Patrick Basile. Over his 30 years of service, Dr. Poulos deployed five times as a combat general surgeon in Iraq and Afghanistan. He now serves as the Trauma Medical Director and ECMO team medical director at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville.
As the game enters the fourth quarter, the Navy Mutual Bell Ringer will be Petty Officer 1st Class Eugene Gustilo. He has served in the U.S. Navy for 17 years, including deployments with Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom and is currently stationed at Naval Station Mayport.
The TIAA Bank Community Champion of the Game for Week 6 is Amanda Brown, a registered nurse with Baptist Health. She was instrumental in setting up the COVID-19 testing site at the Prime Osborn Convention Center earlier this year, making sure that the testing process was efficient and safe for everyone involved and personally recruiting team members to work on the front line at the site.
In 2020, the Jaguars will recognize frontline workers during each game as a salute to the healthcare workers and first responders who have supported the community's health and wellbeing during the COVID-19 crisis. This week's honoree is Erin Tracy, a pediatric oncology/hematology registered nurse at Wolfson Children's Hospital. She is also the founder and president of Fourth and Gold, a non-profit childhood cancer research foundation.
A COMMITMENT TO FAN HEALTH AND SAFETY
The Jaguars and all stadium partners have created a contactless experience for the limited capacity crowd attending games at TIAA Bank Field this season. Accommodations include physically-distanced parking, new security screening and ticket-scanning procedures, cashless concessions, mobile ordering and pod seating. In addition, the Jaguars have added more than 750 hand-sanitizing stations throughout the venue, and certified disinfection specialists will be at the stadium on game day cleaning all high touchpoint areas with hospital grade disinfectant. TIAA Bank Field has also transitioned to a smoke-free facility beginning with the 2020 season. For complete details on stadium preparations, please visit www.jaguars.com/stadium.
KEY FAN REMINDERS:
Here are some key reminders for fans during the 2020 season:

- Face coverings are required at TIAA Bank Field and strongly encouraged in all parking lots. Fans will be required to wear face coverings upon entry and throughout the stadium except when actively eating or drinking. Fans will receive consistent reminders about the need to mask up and support the team on Sunday.
- Tailgating is strongly discouraged.
- Fans should still use the Official Jacksonville Jaguars app to access their secure digital tickets on game day, which feature a dynamic barcode to prevent screenshots or counterfeit tickets.
