BUNGIE
The Destiny 2 PC beta has been live since Tuesday and will finally come to a close later today, Thursday, August 31st, when Bungie pulls the plug ahead of the PS4 preload and the console launch next week.
PC Players will then begin the long wait until the games PC release date, which is currently scheduled for October 24 2017. A whole seven weeks after the initial Destiny 2 PS4 and Xbox One release date of September 6th.
So, while the PC beta is live, it's certainly worth making the most of it.
Currently, Bungie has refrained from providing fans a time for when the Destiny 2 open beta on PC will end.
However, if it was to follow the same times of Bungie's Destiny 2 beta's recently, we would suspect that it will have an end time of 6pm BST, 1pm EST, and 10am PT.
Rest assured, the second Bungie or Bungie Help provide an official Destiny 2 beta end time we'll be sure to update this story with the new information.
However, there's every possibility that fans could get some good news, should Bungie and Activision continue their trend of extending the times for Destiny beta periods.

WILL THE DESTINY 2 BETA ON PC GET EXTENDED?
As mentioned previously, all Bungie has said with regards to an end time is that it's happening on Thursday, August 31.
However, it's worth taking this with a pinch of salt, because Bungie and Activision have a good track record of extending Destiny beta periods, and no doubt fans will be hoping they do the same again on PC.
When Bungie launched the original Destiny beta, they extended the end time by one day.
With the Destiny 2 beta on PS4 and Xbox One, Bungie did it again, extending the beta by a further TWO days.
Given that this is Bungie's first outing on PC and the fact that the team are still a little under 8 weeks away from the games release on PC, it wouldn't be out of the question for Bungie and Activision to extend the PC open-beta.
DESTINY 2 PC BETA: Everything You Need to Know
The PC beta is starting a good few weeks after console players had the ability to play the game on PS4 and Xbox One, and will offer much of the same content that was on offer in the original build (albeit with better graphics).
The main change is that the PC beta features a brand new map. PS4 and Xbox One players experienced Control on the Midtown map, but PC players will battle it out on Javelin-4.
The PC version of the game will support 21:9 monitor setups, keyboard and mouse input and give players the option to tune their graphics settings, however.
The original version of Destiny never made the leap to PC, so with Destiny 2 releasing on the Windows platform, Bungie and Activision may see an entirely new fanbase join the game.
Unlike the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, however, you will be required to download the Blizzard desktop app in order to play the beta - this is the standard client for launching and playing all of Blizzard's games (Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Diablo etc) and will be the only way you can access and play Destiny 2 on PC.
Destiny 2 PC Beta - What you shouldn't expect:
Clan Support: It’s true that Clans will be supported in Destiny 2, but those features are not a part of this test.
Character Progression: You’ll receive rewards for defeating your enemies – be they Cabal, Vex, or other Guardians – but the Beta does not represent how your characters will evolve in Destiny 2.
Character Continuity: Destiny 2 is a fresh start. Nothing we do in the Beta will carry over to the final version of the game.
Destiny 2 PC Beta System Requirements
Bungie recently revealed the Destiny 2 PC requirements, which are divided into 'minimum' and 'recommended' categories. Both categories are just below and will help inform what you need for playing that beta coming in a few days time:
