Game Pass' Palworld drops Xbox update and crosses yet another sales milestone - TrueAchievements

Palworld is on everybody's minds at the moment, whether you're watching it hit sales milestone after sales milestone, reading up on the Pokémon discourse, or just having a grand old time actually playing the game. As a Game Preview launch, Palworld's not been without its gameplay issues either, but Pocket Pair has just released updates for the Xbox and PC versions of the game which aim to fix a few of its problems. The Palworld Twitter account confirmed an update had been released which fixed "numerous bugs" including sound issues, while known issues remained such as the static black screen after launching the game. Then, some hours later, another update was released which fixed that issue of players being stuck on a black screen after starting up Palworld.

Community manager Bucky explained in the Palworld Discord that it "takes longer to prepare updates for Xbox" and that they need to wait for the certification review which can take a while.

Meanwhile Palworld's other problems seem to be caused by its own success, such as server issues due to its large player numbers. The game has just hit another milestone, with the devs confirming that Palworld managed to sell over six million copies in four days and that its "all-time peak player count has also surpassed 1.7 million." It's also become the "3rd highest concurrently played game on Steam ever," according to another update. It jumped straight to the top three of our gameplay chart of popular Xbox games too.

Palworld is still in Game Preview, so it'll be interesting to see how the game evolves in the future — and if we get any additions to those ten Palworld achievements.
