• Jones shows off his athleticism by getting the defense to buy the fake handoff to Barkley before escaping to the right for a gain of 16 yards. That sparked Jones in the passing game as he hit James and Hodgins for consecutive 15-yard gains. The Eagles got the Giants to 3rd-and-3 at the 10-yard line, but Jones hit Brightwell for a 6-yard gain. Three plays later, Jones snuck it in himself from the 1-yard line to cut into the Eagles' lead. It's 27-14 with 5:40 left in the third quarter.
• Key injury update for Eagles: Kyron Johnson (shoulder), Arryn Siposs (ankle), and Reed Blankenship (knee) are all OUT for the rest of the game.
• Scott got the offense off to a good start with a 35-yard return to the Eagles' 37-yard line. Jack Stoll caught a short pass from Hurts and turned it into a 14-yard gain for gain a first down. Three plays later, on 3rd-and-1, the Eagles pitch to Miles Sanders to the right for a gain of 17 to get Sanders over 1,000 yards on the season for the first time in his career. Brown earlier in the drive eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards on the year. It's Brown's 3rd 1K season in 4 NFL years. And, not to be outdone, Hurts finishes off the drive with a designed run up the middle. Jason Kelce pulls in front and the Giants vacated the middle of the field for a 10-yard touchdown. It's 34-14 with 1:41 left in the third quarter.
Hurts has tied his own franchise QB record of 10 rushing touchdowns in a single season.
• The Eagles' nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, Brandon Graham, notched a sack of Jones to force a 3rd-and-long. The Giants went for it on 4th-and-4, but tight end Chris Myarick was called for pass interference forcing the Giants to punt.
FOURTH QUARTER
• The Eagles are stymied as edge rusher Azeez Ojulari sacked Hurts. Jake Elliott was brought on the punt for Siposs. Giants take over at the Giants' 25-yard line.
• Giants keep their slim hopes alive on a 4th-and-5 as Jones escaped pressure for the first yard, a 6-yard gain. Barkley seems to be sidelined for the afternoon. But the Giants couldn't convert that into points. On a 4th-and-8 from the Eagles' 23, the pass rush swarmed Jones and his pass to James had no chance. Eagles take over with 9:58 remaining.
• Lane Johnson suffered an abdominal injury and Jack Driscoll is in at right tackle. Despite a sack of Hurts on first down, the quarterback hit Brown on a slant to get 19 yards on second down before sneaking it on 3rd-and-short to extend the drive. Sanders went for over 100 yards on the day with a 10-yard gain to the right side to move the chains.
• MILES SANDERS FINISHES OFF THE GIANTS! He scores on a 40-yard touchdown down the right sideline to make it 41-14 with 6:01 left in the game.
Sanders has a career-high 144 yards and now has 11 touchdowns on the season.
• BG PUTS THE EXCLAMATION POINT! He strip-sacks Tyrod Taylor and the loose ball is recovered by Patrick Johnson to give the Eagles the ball right back. It's Graham's second sack of the day.
• The Giant Killer pads the point total with his ninth career touchdown, a 3-yard rush up the middle, to make it 48-14 with 3:09 remaining.
• BG gets his THIRD SACK OF THE GAME just before the two-minute warning. It ties his career high which came against the other "New York" team in 2019.
