Bills vs. Vikings score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, analysis as wild game heads to overtime - CBS Sports

Turnovers abounded as snow fell on the field in Buffalo in the first half between the Vikings and the Bills with the home team taking a 24-10 lead into halftime. Josh Allen, whose status was up in the air all week due to his elbow injury, got the start. Allen was able to avoid big hits and turnovers early, completing 14 of his 18 first-half passes for 136 yards and a touchdown, while adding another 46 yards on the ground thanks to three scrambles in his 64th consecutive start.

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins displayed slippery footing in the first 30 minutes, falling backwards while attempting to pitch the football to running back Dalvin Cook, a fumble the running back recovered, as well as on his interception on an overthrow over the middle intended for wide receiver K.J. Osborn.

Minnesota marched down the field with ease to start, scoring an opening-drive touchdown after six plays, the last of which wide receiver Justin Jefferson secured on a deep pass for a 22-yard score. However, the Vikings were unable to get things going in the red zone the vast majority of the first half. Minnesota had a first-and-goal from the Buffalo two, but they ended up settling for a 27-yard field goal, thanks to an offensive pass interference penalty on tight end T.J. Hockenson. Cousins finished the half with 143 passing yards, the opening drive score, and an interception while completing 12 of his 21 pass attempts.

Bills running back Devin Singletary was off to one of the best games of his career early, totaling 33 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns -- tied for his single-game career high -- on his first six carries. However, his last three carries of the half went for only eight yards and included a lost fumble. The key sequence of the half came when the Vikings opted to pass on their third- and fourth-down plays after the two-minute warning from the Bills' 28, both resulting in incompletions, resulting in a turnover on downs when a field goal could have been easily had. Allen, shaking off his pregame elbow injury concerns, scrambled for 25 yards to jumpstart the drive. Four plays later, Buffalo was in the end zone via Allen's arm to wide receiver Gabe Davis for an 11-yard score that put them up two touchdowns, 24-10, with 32 seconds remaining in the half.

The Vikings will start the second half with the ball with a chance to get back within a score, so stay locked into our coverage of this Week 10 showdown between two of the NFL's winningest teams for all the real-time updates and analysis!
