In Game 1 of the World Series, the Astros jumped out to a 5-0 lead, only to watch it slip away and lose in extra innings 6-5. In Game 2, the Astros again put up an early 5-0 advantage, but this time held off the Phillies to win the second game 5-2 and even the series at a game each.
Now, the World Series heads to Philadelphia for a three-game stretch that could see the 2022 World Series come to an end if either team is able to sweep the other in the City of Brotherly Love. But not before the two teams had an extra day of rest. Due to rain in Philadelphia, Game 3 was delayed from Monday to Tuesday, pushing the rest of the World Series schedule back a day.
When the two teams return to the field, Lance McCullers will start for the Astros and Ranger Suarez will take the hill for the Phillies, as the two hurlers hope to put their team up two games to one in the World Series.
