Highlights: Mia Mileo scored the game-winner for Perkiomen Valley in overtime to take a 2-1 girls soccer victory over Methacton on Wednesday. Rain Boyd and Dorothy Chesshire set up the winning play at the 8:16 mark in the extra period.

After a scoreless first half, Rain Boyd delivered a low, hard-driven strike to put the Vikings up first with 30:46 to go in the second half. Just 36 seconds later, Katie Rozinsky tapped in the equalizer off a misclear.

Jules Sterchak recorded two saves for Perkiomen Valley. Riley McDonald (one save) and Mairi Smith (two saves) both worked the net for Perk Valley. Methacton was outshot 12-3 and the Vikings took eight corner kicks with none for the Warriors.

Mandy Baldwin made a team-high 14 kills for Methacton in a 3-1 girls volleyball win over Perkiomen Valley. Kayla Ginther added 10 kills and Rachel Pettine put up 30 assists and four aces. The Warriors improve to 4-0 with a 2-0 conference record.

For Perk Valley, Naomi Clauhs drilled a pair of aces with 14 kills, two blocks and four digs. Olivia Wusinich recorded 14 assists with eight digs, two aces and one kill. Quinn Boettinger added four blocks and two kills.

Pope John Paul II 3, Pottsgrove 0 (25-16, 25-9, 25-15)
PJP won in straight sets while being led by Bella Honick (18 service points, 15 digs) and Jillian Cobaugh and Elizabeth Beehler with seven kills apiece. For Pottsgrove, Raelyn Eisenhard had 4 assists, Chelsea Wasdick accumulated 7 digs, and Marissa Leamy and Riley Eisenhard contributed 2 kills each.

Upper Merion 3, Upper Perkiomen 0 (25-16, 25-6 & 25-6)
In the first-ever meeting between both schools on the volleyball court, Upper Merion defeated Upper Perkiomen in straight sets. Caitlin Daywalt tacked on a career-high eight aces with 24 assists. Despina Kourtidis also enjoyed a career-high six kills.

Sophia Schweikert made 12 kills on 15 swings and Amber Chang logged 11 service points with three aces. Senior outside hitter Gabby Canete served five aces, also a career-high.
