Playstation Titles Including God Of War To Get PC Ports Per Leak - Screen Rant

Several PlayStation games, including 2018’s God of War reboot, will be ported to PC according to a leak. PlayStation exclusives have appeared on PC in the past. Robot dinosaur game Horizon Zero Dawn and Hideo Kojima’s divisive mailman simulator Death Stranding were ported to PC last year. A port of Sony’s popular post-apocalyptic zombie game, Days Gone, is scheduled to release on PC this Spring.

Sony recently announced that more PlayStation exclusive video games would be ported to PC this year but did not say which ones. This has caused plenty of online speculation as to what games PC gamers should be looking forward to. Many have voiced their opinions and wishes for specific PlayStation PC ports online, including leakers.

A list of PlayStation exclusive games including God of War, Bloodborne, Ghost of Tsushima, and a collection of Uncharted games are all on their way to PC according to Game Rant (via CrazyLeaksOnATrain). The same person who posted this leak on Twitter also said last year that Bloodborne would be ported to PC. Other leakers on Twitter also posted about a possible PC port of Bloodborne around the same time.

Game Rant’s source should be taken with a grain of salt. CrazyLeaksOnATrain has made many unsubstantiated claims, but some of the user’s leaks, like the Kingdom Hearts series being ported to PC and its exclusivity on the Epic Games Store, have come to fruition. These claims are all unsourced, but the leak could be correct, even if only in part. With so many different PlayStation titles on the list, the odds of at least one of them making it to PC is certainly not low.

PlayStation’s recent announcement that more of its exclusives are coming to PC would be beneficial for gamers as well as the people that make them. Putting PlayStation exclusives on PC could bring more people into the ever-expanding PlayStation fan base. At the same time, more people would have access to the games themselves, and that’s always a good thing. Any of these titles would be good candidates for PC release as they are all extremely popular. It seems more likely for Ghost of Tsushima to be ported over to PC than the other games because it was in development at the time Sony was working on the Horizon Zero Dawn port. God of War does have a sequel coming out on PlayStation 5 this year, so bringing the 2018 reboot to PC might entice more people to buy PS5s (if they can find one).
