Game Storylines
• Pitt, back on the winning track following a 41-17 victory at Florida State, looks to make it two in a row when it visits Georgia Tech.
• The Panthers are coming off perhaps their most complete— and impressive—effort of the season in defeating the host Seminoles by 24 points, Pitt's largest road win since 2012. Georgia Tech was idle this past weekend following an Oct. 31 loss to Notre Dame (31-13).
• Pitt and Georgia Tech have met annually as Coastal Division members, alternating home and away games. With the ACC utilizing a non-divisional format in 2020, Pitt will travel to Atlanta for the second consecutive year.
• Pitt has won four of the past five in the series, including each of the last two. Pitt's lone loss during that span came at Georgia Tech (35-17) in 2017.
• Since 2015, Pat Narduzzi has directed Pitt to 27 victories in ACC play, the fourth-highest win total during that span. The Panthers trail only Clemson (44), Miami (30) and Virginia Tech (28).
• The Panthers lead the country with an average of 11.6 tackles for loss per game. Pitt boasts the ACC's top three producers of TFLs in linebacker SirVocea Dennis (13.5) and defensive ends Rashad Weaver (11.5) and Patrick Jones II (11.0).
• Pitt averages 4.75 sacks per game, tops in the ACC and fifth nationally. Defensive end Patrick Jones II ranks second in the country (first in the ACC) with eight total sacks.
• Jordan Addison is the nation's top freshman receiver with 52 catches for 611 yards and three touchdowns. The last freshman to lead Pitt in receiving was Tyler Boyd in 2013.
