STORYLINES                                                                                                                
• The 2020 season marks the 49th year of Commander-in-Chief's trophy competition. The trophy goes annually to the winning academy with the best record in the round-robin competition. The winning team goes to the White House to receive the trophy from the President of the United States.
• Air Force could win a record-21st Commander-in-Chief's Trophy title with a win this week. The Falcons opened the season with a 40-7 over Navy Oct. 3. The Falcons have a series-best 62-35 overall record.
• The Air Force football team will honor the Tuskegee Airmen with the 2020 edition of the Airpower Legacy Series uniform. The Falcons debuted the special uniform for the season opener vs. Navy. The team will wear the uniform for this week's Army game. Please turn to page 13 for more information.
• Air Force and Army are meeting for the 55th time overall. The Falcons lead the series, 37-16-1, including a 14-11 at Army. Air Force is 34-14 in Commander-in-Chief's Trophy games vs. Army dating back to 1972. The team is 13-11 at Army in CIC games.

LAST SEASON
(Nov. 2, 2019) Air Force defeated Army, 17-13, in Falcon Stadium to win its fourth straight game and snap a two-game losing streak to the Black Knights. Air Force had defensive stops to open the close the game. After holding Army on a four-and-goal on the one on its first drive, the Falcons took a 3-0 lead in the second quarter on a Jake Koehnke 20 yard field goal. Army answered with a touchdown run late in the second quarter by Jabari Laws, but missed the extra point to take a 6-3 halftime lead. Timothy Jackson put the Falcons in front with a one yard touchdown run to make it 10-6. Army scored on its next play on an 87-yard pass from Laws to make it 13-10. Joshua Stoner scored on a five yard run with 13:08 to play to make it 17-13. The Falcons then held Army on a fourth down play inside the 10 with 33 second left. Jackson led the Falcons with a career-best 155 yards rushing and a score. The Falcons had 344 total yards, including 328 rushing. Kyle Johnson led the defense with a season-high 11 tackles. Jordan Jackson added nine and a sack. The defense held Army to 343 total yards.
 
LAST TIME AT ARMY WEST POINT
(Nov. 4, 2017) Army defeated Air Force, 21-0, in Falcon Stadium. The shutout snapped Air Force's school-record 306 game scoring streak dating back to 1992. The Black Knights snapped a four-game losing streak to Air Force and won in Falcon Stadium for the first time since 2005. Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 265 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries to lead Army. The Black Knights had 392 total yards, all rushing, and didn't attempt a pass in the game. Air Force finished with 190 total yards, including 95 rushing. Tim McVey led the team with 39 yards rushing. Grant Ross led the defense with a career-best 12 tackles.

AIR FORCE VS. NON-CONFERENCE FOES UNDER CALHOUN
Air Force is 40-25 against non-conference opponents under head coach Troy Calhoun. The Falcons are 26-4 at home, 8-16 on the road and 6-5 in neutral site games. Air Force is 1-0 this season with a 40-7 win over Navy Oct. 3.
 
AN AIR FORCE WIN WOULD.....

AIR FORCE LAST WEEK
Boise State defeated Air Force, 49-30, in Falcon Stadium. The 25th-ranked Broncos scored on the game's opening play with a 75-yard touchdown pass from Jack Sears to CT Thomas to take a 7-0 lead. The Falcons scored the first two times they had it on rushing touchdowns from Brandon Lewis and Matthew Murla to take a 14-7 lead. Boise State exploded for 21 points in the second quarter to take a 28-17 halftime lead. The Broncos extended the lead to 35-17 with the second TD connect between Sears and Thomas. Following an Air Force touchdown run by Murla to cut it to 35-24, but Avery Williams returned the ensuing kickoff 88 yards to a score to make it 42-24. Both teams added a touchdown to make up the final margin. Boise State had 459 total yards, including 280 passing. Sears hit 17-20 passes for 280 yards and three scores. Air Force had 484 total yards, including a season-high 415 rushing. Lewis led the way with a career-high 112 yards, while Elijah Robinson chipped in with 90 and Warren Bryan 87.
 
AIR FORCE SEVENTH IN THE NATION IN FIRST-TEAM STARTERS
Air Force has had 17 players start for the first time in their career this season. The 17 first-time starters is the most in the Mountain West and is tied for eighth-most nationally. Air Force's first-time starters by game follows:

• Air Force is second in the Mountain West and nationally in rushing with a 330.0 average. The Falcons have ranked among the nation's top 10 six straight years and 32 of the last 33 overall.
• Air Force is 66-19 when having a 100-yard rusher under head coach Troy Calhoun, including a 1-1 mark this season. Timothy Jackson (118) and Brad Roberts (103) did the honors vs. Navy in the season opener. Brandon Lewis (112) hit the 100-yard mark vs. Boise State.
• Air Force's loss vs. Boise State snapped a 10-game winning with a 100-yard rusher dating back to Nov 17, 2018, at Wyoming.
