North Carolina's chances of making the NCAA Tournament will be slim, even if the Tar Heels can pull off an upset over Duke on Saturday night in Chapel Hill. But UNC could certainly find some satisfaction in an otherwise frustrating season by knocking off the No. 7 Blue Devils (19-3, 9-2 ACC) in the first meeting of the 100th season of the rivalry.
Meanwhile, Duke needs a victory to keep up with Florida State and Louisville in the race for ACC supremacy. NBA scouts will have a close eye on the battle of the point guards as Duke sophomore Tre Jones squares off with North Carolina freshman Cole Anthony in Anthony's third game back since missing 11 contests due to a knee surgery.
Duke has two more potential first-rounders in its rotation as well with freshmen Matthew Hurt and Vernon Carey. North Carolina will need a big game from junior forward Garrison Brooks to mitigate Carey on the interior.
