Important Ticketholder Information for Patriots - Steelers Game - Patriots.com

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. –The New England Patriots will kick off their 60th anniversary season by celebrating their sixth Super Bowl Championship in a prime time matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the only other team to accomplish the feat in NFL history. It promises to be a banner night for a capacity crowd at Gillette Stadium. The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC’s Sunday Night Football (8:20 p.m. kickoff).

In advance of Sunday night, Gillette Stadium officials are requesting the media’s assistance in communicating important information to fans attending the game.

FREE PARKING LOT HIGHLIGHTS NEW PARKING PLAN AT GILLETTE STADIUM IN 2019

It has been said that good things come to those who wait, and for Patriots fans who register at https://www.gillettestadium.com/freeparking/ for a delayed exit parking lot prior to each game this season, the reward will be FREE parking.

After a successful pilot program in 2018, the New England Patriots are expanding their offer to ticketed fans who opt for a delayed exit lot to park for FREE in 2019. The free parking option is believed to be the only one of its kind in the NFL and highlights a new pricing plan that features an overall price reduction for nearly three-quarters of the available public parking spaces at Gillette Stadium.

In 2019, Gillette Stadium will offer three pricing zones for general parking; a free delayed exit parking lot (Lot 55), a $10 price reduction (now $30) for all remaining general parking via the P10 and P11 entrances (located across Route 1 from the stadium) and stadium side parking for $60.

Stadium parking lots for Sunday’s game open at 4:20 p.m. with stadium gates opening at 6:00 p.m. Additionally, Gillette Stadium has a designated rideshare drop off and pick up location in Lot 15 adjacent to Bass Pro Shops for Uber and Lyft users. Fans can schedule an Uber or Lyft ride to and from the venue through their respective mobile apps. For more parking information, visit https://www.gillettestadium.com/parking/.

*NOTE: *The price of ADA parking in Gillette Stadium’s licensed ADA spaces has also been reduced to $30 per game. Licensed ADA spaces are designated by ADA access signs and require a valid ADA parking placard. As a reminder, ADA parking spaces typically fill up within the first hour of lots opening. ADA spaces are not guaranteed. Parking accommodations made once licensed spaces are full are priced in accordance with the price for that lot. Oversize vehicle parking remains at $150 per game.

CLEAR BAG POLICY IN EFFECT

Fans attending Sunday’s game are reminded that bags larger than a small wristlet or handheld wallet will not be allowed inside Gillette Stadium, per the venue’s clear bag policy, which is in effect at all ticketed events. If carrying a bag into the stadium is necessary, the only options are a clear plastic bag not exceeding 12” x 6” x 12” (a capacity of 1 gallon) or a small wristlet or handheld wallet not exceeding 8” x 5” x 2” (approximately the size of a hand). Clear backpacks exceed those specifications and are not permitted.

Please note that bags larger than the permitted size, including purses, shoulder bags and backpacks, will not be allowed inside Gillette Stadium and will not be held or stored by the venue. These items must be returned to a vehicle before entering the stadium. For more information on the clear bag policy, visit http://www.gillettestadium.com/bagpolicy.

MOBILE TICKETSThe use of mobile tickets is permitted for all Patriots games this season. Gillette Stadium officials strongly encourage fans using mobile tickets to download their tickets onto their smartphones prior to arriving at the stadium gates for ease of entry into the venue.

SECONDARY MARKET TICKETS, BUYER BEWARE

Gillette Stadium officials are reminding fans to be wary of counterfeit tickets and use caution when purchasing game tickets online in the secondary market. Please note the Patriots can only verify the legitimacy of tickets purchased through the NFL’s ticketing network of StubHub, SeatGeek and Ticketmaster’s ticket exchange.

DRONES/UAVs ARE PROHIBITED AT GILLETTE STADIUM AND SURROUNDING PARKING LOTSDrones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are prohibited at Gillette Stadium and the surrounding parking lots. For all Patriot games, there is a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) in place around the stadium. The TFR is an F.A.A. regulation and includes the prohibition of drones/UAVs, as well as larger aircraft.

Security and law enforcement officials will be on-site to ensure the safety of all attending the game. If fans have any concerns, we support the security campaign, “If you see something, say something,” and dial 9-1-1 or contact the nearest security or law enforcement officer.

METAL DETECTORS AT ALL GATESPlease note that metal detectors will be located at all stadium gates and fans should be prepared to remove phones and cameras from their pockets. Unlike procedures you may be familiar with at the airport, stadium security will not be asking fans to remove their keys, shoes, belts or loose change.

With a capacity crowd of nearly 66,000 fans, Gillette Stadium officials encourage drivers to allow themselves plenty of time when traveling near the stadium on game day. Traffic restrictions will be in place on local roads before and after the game. Fans must use I-95, I-495 or Route 140 to access Route 1 and Gillette Stadium. For ease of entry and exit, fans are reminded of the following:

  • From the North (from I-95), fans are strongly encouraged to stay to the right and park in P10
