30-50 feral hogs

It hits that right combination of absurdism and existential dread that keeps me coming back to Twitter time and time again, hoping for joyful insanity and pure insanity in relatively equal doses. Such a meme is 30-50 feral hogs, which blew up last night and is sure to burn itself out in spectacular style over the next few days. And of course, there are now video games involved. It was already a particularly video game-style meme.
The 30-50 feral hogs meme came in response to a tweet from musician Jason Isbell arguing that definitional squabbling over what could be considered an "Assault rifle" was muddying the waters and allowing violent people to continue accessing weapons that can be used for mass shootings. One responder, apparently, was trying to make an argument about why rural Americans might need to use high-capacity weapons, and his reasoning...went off the rails from there. Here's the original:

So this is a person who, apparently, owns a yard that is frequently set upon by massive swarms of feral hogs in much larger groups than they usually travel at curiously regular intervals after his children start playing. And not only that, but he is also planning to slaughter all of these hogs in front of his children with an assault rifle. What will he do with the literal tons of dead hog afterward? A question for later, because this man is likely tired, and there are more hogs on the way.
Naturally, the internet exploded with memes, and apparently, one day is all we need to start the video games rolling in. I was able to find one browser-based unity game on itch made by a particularly speedy developer named Bookska. It's as basic as we get, but it at least gives us some visuals to imagine what, exactly, it looks like to spend your afternoon defending your children from hordes of feral pigs.
In addition to that, there are mods. You could do this in any games with hogs in them, preferably one with assault rifles as well. I found one from Skyrim, as well as screenshots of people playing hog-infested Minecraft and what looks like Far Cry 3:

There will be more. Any game with assault rifles, hogs, and a map editor can be turned into a 30-50 feral hogs simulator, and surely many without these things can be too.
