The Huia Chiefs had the doubleheader in the latest round of club softball and made the most of it with two wins.
In the early premier men's game at Colquhoun Park on Saturday, Huia Chiefs beat the Raiders 10-0.
The Chiefs took the lead in the second inning by scoring two runs.
No further runs were scored by either team until the fifth inning, when Huia strung five hits together, scoring eight runs and the Raiders could not reply, with the game ending.

Top batter for Raiders was Jacob Aull, who had a lovely safe bunt and picking two walks. For Huia, Dean Rauhihi led the way with two hits from two turns at bat.
In the second of their double header, Huia Chiefs had another shutout win, beating the Linton Sentinels 8-0.
The Chiefs again starting well and were ahead 4-0 in the second inning.
No more runs were scored until the fourth inning, when Huia sneaked one more in to be up 5-0.
In the fifth and final inning Chiefs again scored three more runs to win 8-0.
Kelly Dyason of the Huia Chiefs was again dominant on the pitching mound, taking 10 strikeouts from the 17 batters he faced.
The men's feature game between Bluesox and Dodgers Black only lasted two innings due to Bluesox lacking the numbers. A player was asked to leave the game and they didn't have a replacement and they forfeited the game.
The early premier women's game was the clash of neighbours Score-a-Bulls and Rangitikei Rebels, with Bulls winning 10-3.
Bulls shot out to an early lead, scoring five runs in the first innings and in the second inning, Rebels managed to get a couple of runs, closing the gap to Score-a-Bulls 6 Rebels 2.
Only one more run was scored by either team until the fifth inning, when Bulls pulled away, scoring a further three runs.
Taylor Taiaroa was Rebels' top batter, with two hits from three turns at bat. For Bulls Jo Waller had the perfect three hits from three turns at bat.
Next Linton Storm produced a big comeback to win 21-12 over Huia Tigers.
The Tigers got out to a big lead, scoring 10 runs in the first two innings.
The Storm girls came to life with the bat in the next three turns at bat, scoring a massive 11 runs to take a 12-10 lead.
In the sixth and final inning, Huia scored two more runs, only for Linton to pile on a further nine runs to win 21-12.
Three home runs were recorded by the Linton girls in this game, two from Sequita Hemmingway and one from Kimi Grant.
Next, old rivals Bramac Aces pulled away late to beat SPC Feilding 8-3.
In third inning, Bramac were ahead 2-1 and were up 3-2 in the fifth.
Then in the sixth inning, Aces managed to pull away, scoring four runs. In the final inning, both teams scored one more run each and Bramac won 8-3.
For Feilding Kalandra Miller had four hits from four turns at bat. For Bramac, batting honours were shared by Jamie Hudson and Ella Kensington.
In the final women's game, SPC Feilding beat the newly formed Bluesox 13-11.
This was a hard fought game with Bluesox ahead at the bottom of the third inning 9-6. Bluesox pulled ahead, scoring four runs in the fourth inning and Feilding had no reply.
Feilding fought hard but could not manage to score the runs to overtake Bluesox.
Lynette Lambert and Sharnelle Miller shared the batting honours for Feilding, while Bluesox Rowena Jaka Nikora had four hits from four turns at bat.

Premier women: Score-a-Bulls 10 Rangitikei Rebels 3, Bramac Aces 8 SPC Feilding 3, Linton Storm 21 Huia Tigers 12.
Reserve grade men – section one: Cowboys 13 Bluesox Hitmen 12, Linton BBs 13 Linton Thunder 3, Huia Warriors 6 Levin United 4.
Reserve grade men – section two: Dodgers Grey 17 Raiders Rebels 0, Linton Mustangs 12 Bluesox Rookies 5, Wanganui Braves 14 Feilding Top Guns 3.
